Toshiba's 32 GB SDHC Announced

Toshiba has announced that its SD High Capacity is to be the first of its kind to reach 32 GB's. This is welcome news to enthusiasts who desire to expand the capacity of their digital cameras, mobile devices, camcorders, etc. Prices have yet to be announced, but best guesses put the 32 GB card in the $350 to $400 bracket. There will also be a 16 GB version probably priced around $200, as well as a 8 GB microSDHC card at around $100.

wow storage density it getting absolutely mind blowing. A chip the size of a drop of water can hold GBs of information... insane. And it's widely available at that!

lol, how much would the equivalent Sony memory stick cost, this is a prime example of why Sony shouldn't be the format guardian of any widely adapted format.

SD for the win!

Sd for the win yall.
And at $350 for 32GB thats not a bad deal it could actually have been priced at $800 and everyone (or most everyone) would have justified it (though of course not have been very pleased)

Nice! I really hope that they increase the memory of MicroSD soon. Just got the new LG Chocolate and I'm using it as my main Music Player now...need more space. 500 Songs is enough for me, but I just don't like removing songs.

More expensive than a comparable hdd, but the HDD isnt portable. I could surely use a card like that for a lot of things. Prices come down further and Ill be on the bandwagon yo!
