Call of Duty 4 Beta Ends September 30th
The lucky few who got to play the Call of Duty 4 beta, which promises to be the greatest thing to hit Xbox Live since Halo 2, will have to stop playing the game by September 30th. Fortunately for the true Call of Duty 4 aficionados, Infinity Ward is raising the level cap and unlocking additional content on September 28th. Thanks to the results of the Beta, Infinity Ward now has a full list of things they wish to add/remove from Call of Duty 4. The most serious changes include "adding a sensitivity slider, cracking down on map exploits, and improving matchmaking optimization to reduce lag". Infinity Ward gives a tantalizing hint as to when they will release the final version of the game: "Are We Gold Yet?"

Oh, if any1 here's on the COD4 beta feel free to add me so I can frag u :D
Halo didn't do anything that Goldeneye 64 didn't do.
Ok im gonna go out on a limb here and say you probably don't own a 360.
Now about you saying no blood that is complete bullshit. It may have blue alien blood but it actually has more blood in it than CoD2 ever had in it, You could only see a small spurt of blood coming from the enemy after you shot them, whereas with Halo 2 you could actually see the blood after the enemy was killed.
Halo does bring plenty of new things to the genre i.e. good storyline, great balanced gameplay in multiplayer, top notch controls, and lets not forget about the excellent weapons, (eff you dude, if you think the weapons in Halo are lame then thats just your opinion, and not 1.5 million preordered Halo 3 recipients views.)
Also lets not forget that in comparison Caloo Of Duty 2 was rated T for Teen wheras Halo 2 was rated M for mature thats not childish in my eyes.
And finally Goldeneye 64 was a good game but guess what its just not what Halo is. In more ways than I can count Halo is far superior to Goldeneye 64 (though Goldeneye will always have a special place in my heart for what it contributed during its time)
BTW, CoD2 may be rated Teen - but it feels more Adult-themed than halo.
Also now that you mention it the character animation isnt terrible but it isn't mind blowing either i will give you that. But remember there are those massive environments in Halo 3 so while they may have mainly (though not just) just added HDR to Halo 3 and put in Halo 2 graphics they did make the levels far bigger and thats good enough for me:cool::cool::cool:

i do like call of duty 4 i do...but the recoil on alot of the guns in the beta are bullshit...literally you can not hold a RPD and not have it shoot all over the place ...with a scope standing up....so they have to fix that...
