if sony gets a foothold with the system builders i can see hd-dvd falling even further behind because right now Blu-ray seems to be gaining the most brand/format awareness and it is down mainly to the ps3 hardware.

Changes? I just hope the situation stabilizes. I'm tired of having to wait until one format wins out -- I want to be able to burn 50 GB onto a single disk now! (And still be able to read it 10 years from now without digging up obsolete hardware. :p)
