Antec, the leading global brand of high-performance computer components for the PC upgrade and Do-It-Yourself markets, today launched the Three Hundred enclosure. Built on the Nine Hundred's success in the market, this affordable enclosure combines versatility, convenience and robust cooling to deliver an unbeatable value. Standing 18 inches tall and weighing 15.9 pounds, the Three Hundred is an exceptionally manageable case, but still has enough space for nine drive bays and seven expansion slots.

It can accommodate up to a standardATX motherboard, and has room for even the tallest graphics cards, including the NVIDIA 8800 series graphics card and the ATI HD 3800 series. This makes Three Hundred a very scalable case, providing gamers with the room for cutting-edge components and system builders the flexibility to meet their customers' demands.

The Three Hundred also features a highly sophisticated quiet cooling system, far superior to similarly priced enclosures. A top-mounted 140mm fan and a rear 120mm TriCool fan keep the case cool while 3-speed switch controls let users find the ideal balance of quiet and cooling. The Three Hundred also comes with a perforated front bezel to take in air efficiently and a washable air filter that reduces dust buildup. This robust cooling can keep up with even the most demanding gaming systems and can be leveraged to build a top-notch professional PC.

In addition, the Three Hundred has several extremely convenient features, such as a cable management compartment which helps users keep their systems organized and ensures uninterrupted airflow. The case also has two USB 2.0 ports and HD Audio In and Out ports on the front for easy access.

"We are excited to introduce the Three Hundred, an enclosure that offers truly outstanding cooling and performance, especially at its price," said Scott Richards, senior vice president for Antec. "The Three Hundred satisfies the demands of gamers, system builders, and anyone else looking for outstanding value."

Three Hundred is available now through major retailers, e-tailers, and distributors. The Three Hundred will retail for approximately $59.95 and is backed by Antec's Quality 3-Year Warranty. For additional product information and full technical specifications, please visit http://www.antec.com.

Woot for antec cases! Nice case if you can't afford the 900 or want something a little newer. :rockout:

normally like antec, especially their sonata range, not much to point out for flaws for those cases (ppl whine about the feet, bs!) as for this case, im not too much of a fan, on the outside it looks all antec'y but u look inside and it has out dated 3/half" hdd bays, the backplate looks flimsy, i liked antec more before they went all honey comb crazy on the front of their cases, i dont see this appealing to any 'enthusiests' but can see a good selling point for this over a generic 50 buck case, especially for those who have half decent spare pc's left over from upgrading but want to house it el-cheapo style and still want it to look half decent. aside from that, if antec want feedback, how about; design more then one gaming case ffs antec.

Got my 900 for under 50$ from newegg over 4 months ago... just gotta keep searching and find when it goes on sale, with MIR, with promo code :) I do like the look of it though, quite simply

$50 is my limit for the price of a case. Really, all I need is something that's ATX and has room for a front fan.

That's my kind of case design. Very elegant and aptly priced. I don't like cases that look too Fisher-Price or screaming with lighting and windows.

I quite like it, but something about it isn't working for me. I think I need to stare at it a little longer...

It's got the styling criteria I like, sleek, simple and black... just something about it I can't put my finger on. Hmmm.....

So that's how the Twelve Hundred looks like !? Wow. Too bad it has just 7 expansion slot bays unlike the Xaser.

What a spartan case... I have to say that chassis was based off the Antec SOLO... then built off from there instead of the Antec 900. U'll see what I mean when you buy that case. Dust filters tho, which kill the 900 in that aspect... 900 is a dust sucking monster!

I'd prefer the thermaltake or Coolermaster "900 clones" however... More space, and less spartan. THIS IS SPARTA

This is blasphemy! This is madness!!

I personally have come to love the all aluminum cases from Lian-Li ever since I dont cut my hand anymore inside the case, but the big fan seems nice and if its cheap then it might seem good to recommend to friends.

Yes, I saw the movie, just didn't get the connection to the topic, :slap: <-me

Antec names them in alphabets not digits: Nine Hundred, Three Hundred, in the future Twelve Hundred and Six Hundred.

The Antec cases have not really excited me. When the 900 released I was more interested in a generic case than the 900. To many people buy it and it old really fast. I would rather get a generic case for like 40$, and cut my own side window.

If it wasn't for the hard cable management, I would have bought a 900. Cases look so much cleaner when there's no cables (let alone a PSU!) at the bottom of them.

I love my 900. I replaced it with this one I have now that I got from LiNKin. This new 300 costs only 30 bucks less than I paid for my 900. got a sweet deal on it. Biggest two problems of the 900, DUST SUCKING MONSTER (as someone said above) and a bitch in the ass to manage your cables. Other than that, it was an absolute beast. This would work well for me, or a Cosmos S :)

more and more companies are following the thermaltake armor design for the front of the case, etc.
