Foxconn X58 Blood Rage Sets World Record DDR3 Overclock
Blood RAGE, the latest member of Foxconn's Quantum Force family with Intel X58 chipset, sets the highest record of DDR3 memory overclocking with Intel Core i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz armed by a Taiwan overclocker.
With a score of 2513.8MHz (1256.9*2) the test has produced one of the highest OC scores of all time, i.e., a new world record using A-DATA DDR3 800 Memory."We are excited to announce this incredible record. The 3-channel DIMM design applied on Blood Rage is truly the best design for memory OC performance so far." said a PM from Quantum Force product team.

I had some A-Data DDR2-667 that would do DDR2-800 cas4 just fine at 1.9v. At 2.2v, it would do 1100. Picked it up for $25 when most other brands were about twice as expensive. Clocks better than the Corsair DDR2-800 cl4 stuff I gave my sister. I paid almost 3x as much for the corsair!
*side note* why havnt you been online playing l4d??? oh yea, i also live in PA.
Epic Post FAIL!! The other record pointed out isn't with a Core i7, which is what Foxconn was getting at, with its PR. Spend a few calories reading the press release properly before you waste it in typing crap. :slap:
That aside, thank you Jugeen for the WR heads up.
