It's big alright. But it doesn't really look like it would have that much cooling power. I'll wait for reviews on that.

Who exactly gets to claim that it's the best cooler for Core i7?

Or more like who can I blame.

Or rather who can I flame.

I want their name.

Rhyming is lame.

Among those who are not better than me, I am the best.
Ergo, among the coolers that don't perform better than the V14AX, it is in fact the best.

Well, you're just as bad. "Thermaltake is already known as the leader in Thermal solutions..".

I thought so. Damn bastards. I couldn't flame you anyway.. too much respect for doctors.

First they lie about their fan specifications and now they claim to have the best i7 cooler?

Honestly, didn't Roosevelt institute a program to counter false advertising back in the 30's?

Let's enlist some high-strung feisty new lawyer and sue the pants off of them!

Right, but they're saying that there are none better than them. I'd like them to prove that.

Not even the company that actually makes the best cooler downright claims that it's the best.

Go to the front page. See if there's a "Press Release" marker. If there is one, there is a strong chance that we didn't write the text. :)

Well, I suggest you take the initiative and write the news story yourself, because copying lies and propaganda is not how this site is supposed to operate.

Maybe they are. I highly doubt that, but maybe they are. Don't take advertising too seriously. I got a heatkiller CPU block. THe heat still lives tho. Thermaltake advertises a bit over the top, thats a fact. But I pay attention to raw facts, not ads. Not since I saw that ShamWow commercial:roll:

You see, this is why after posting each PR by NVIDIA, I'm making it a point to tell people not to discuss on the "NVIDIA, inventor of GPU" line. :)

Let me please you...

done.

I dunno about this cooler when cooling an i7.

I saw the V8 in action, it is a terrible cooler for an i7. I am still looking around.

I had the original V1 and it did very well for me. In fact, my dad is using it on his E5200 right now and its at 3GHz nice and cool.

I had the V1 and it sucked for AM2 sockets. You had to bend a pipe for the lever to swing over. Complete just for AM2. I got a MaxOrb instead. Been good so far.
