The AMD Athlon 64 3500+ EE was a desktop processor with 1 core, launched in February 2007. It is part of the Athlon 64 lineup, using the Orleans architecture with Socket AM2. Athlon 64 3500+ EE has 512 KB of L2 cache and operates at 2.2 GHz. AMD is building the Athlon 64 3500+ EE on a 90 nm production process using 154 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Athlon 64 3500+ EE, which limits its overclocking capabilities.
With a TDP of 35 W, the Athlon 64 3500+ EE consumes only little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR2 memory with a dual-channel interface. For communication with other components in the system, Athlon 64 3500+ EE uses a PCI-Express Gen 2 connection.
