Are we doing audio advertisements now on the main site? Was just watching the WAN show by Linus Media Group, and he was talking about the nvidia driver disabling laptop GPU overclocking and an audio ad played. I was stoked to see TPU thrown out in front of 2800+ people, but having an audio ad play quickly soured the highlight.

You should be able to reference the archive on YouTube tomorrow. Let me know if you want a link to it once it's up.

Upon further review, I cannot confirm or deny that the audio came from TPU, but here is the link:

Since he's using chrome, I would think it would show the little speaker symbol on the TPU tab, and it does not. It may have been another site that was behind their webcam overlay, or Origin. The audio isn't loud enough for me to discern what it is. Could be a false alarm.

The tab that's mostly hidden behind the webcam frame is Twitch.tv which is likely the source of the audio. +1 about the no audio ads policy though.

I apologize in advance if this is a matter that is blantantly obvious to all but Myself, but Why is it that when I post a new Thread in the "Buy/Sell/Giveaway's" section(other), it Doesn't show up in the "New forum Posts" ticker on the TPU Main Homepage??in many years of using TPU, I've never noticed this issue until recently.

Thank You in advance, and i apologize if this ISN'T a "Site Issue".

Reloading doesn't change a thing for Me... ONLY this section SO far does this too. This is the Thread that is doing it BTW....and the other 3 or whatever I created in the past did it too.

Even when others post to the thread, which they have done in the last few minutes, I Never see it in the Homepage ticker..

But this thread DOES show up...It's really only an inconvenience for Myself, I just Hope others See my threads, in particular giveaway's, not everyone looks in the "Forums" submenu.

Can't upload my avatar, keep getting a message that my file has to be less than 50KB, it's 33.8KB.

This is the properties box of the image in question, it's also 256x256, and I lowered it to 8-bit to get below 50KB.

50KB is awfully small anyway, don't you have enough space to allocate up to 1MB per user? The original file is 103KB.
