That card looks massive and the whole point of HBM is to make cards smaller without sacrificing anything. If that were a 390X, I'd be concerned it doesn't use HBM. I'm inclined to believe Greneda at least has HBM.
HBM should be cheaper to manufacturer than GDDR5. I suspect the delays with the launch were to get supply going so they don't have to charge an arm and a leg for HBM.
Those Prices are for GDDR5 cards not HBM, HBM being new memory is expensive and low yields means that there will be NO 8gb versions for a while. least 2-3 months from what i heard.
