Hey folk's I'm looking for a replacement AMD Sempron 3000+ 754 pin for cheap.

If anyone has one laying around let me know.

to be really honest here. Ebay is probobly the best bet. look here! I see a couple replacements for around the $6 range and ending in the next few hours

I know of a few members that are running these procs still, good luck prying them from their cold dead hands though

It should work. As far as I know mobile and desktop 754 chips have exactly the same pinout and everything. I just wouldn't run a desktop chip in a laptop but wouldn't have any problems the other way around.

I think u need to buy that copper lid thing to put on the chip since is bare.

It would still probably work with the just the bare chip. My friend had a 754 rig that i was fixing up for him. I reapplied some arctic mx-2 and it didn't have a ihs on the chip. The computer is still working just fine.

may be lucky. When I took the lid of my 3400 the HS didn't make enough contact and pc won't turn on. May be heat pipe one with bit mod will work.

If anyone needs a IHS for that Turion 754 let me know, I have the lid to a Phenom II 940 that doesn't work laying around the house.

I first looked at Ebay, but would definitely get something from here instead..I'm not to trustworthy for Ebay, and I'd rather take someones word for it here.

Well this chip is unfortunately not for me. This woman i know decided to clean her PC, and completely fucked her chip up. She tore the pins from the solder..I have no god damn idea HOW she did this, but she did.

The machine is an old HP Pavilion, and I'm not sure how much the board can support for a proc, all she did was bring in the chip and ask me to fix it.
