Does not run well on my system. I average 50-75fps, with occasional spikes to around 90. This is indoors and out.
I followed the Nvidia performance guide(merely as it's very in-depth and useful). While I learned a lot, amending most settings does very little. There's certainly no game changer that helps me net a significant amount of frames.
I figured I could at least hold 80+ consistently outside and 96+ indoors.
Maybe it's worth waiting a few months for driver updates and game patches?
I recognize this from my GTX 770, getting similar frames with most settings at high/ultra except God Rays and lighting/shadows at medium / high and maximum draw distances @ 1080p. The odd thing is that indoors the frames are generally slightly lower than outdoors, while previous Fallout games had the opposite effect on fps. I am guessing most of the loss of frames comes from lighting options, that are significantly upgraded in indoor areas.
However I can't say 'it doesn't run well', I do manage to keep 60 fps in most situations with peaks of 99-110 and no notable hiccups whatsoever. Haven't noticed anything odd going on with the engine above 60 fps by the way. And this is all still without an updated (game ready) driver in place, gonna see if that does anything tonight.
