well... I gave it a better thought.. I still have to change the motherboard once USB3.0 is out (that would be in a few months, they say).. so I might stick to 1156 for a while then change to 1366.. but I haven't decided yet, it's a tough choice

Yes. The DE-945FX is a barebones micro. I have a dead board in mine. I couldn't find a distributor for parts and AOpen wants $173 for it. O.O

For the 975 you'd be locky to get $500-600. You might get more on ebay.

Tend to be mostly used stuff in this thread yes. Anyways, I don't think I will ever buy a new part again in my life after finding how much you can save getting something used. Everything in the last 8 months I have bought used and had 0 problems with anything. Let em know if you change your mind
