Just like Crysis still isn't one of the best looking games out there, and that came out in 2007... Sorry, doesn't seem things are moving that far forward, or really can't without literally becoming real.

And I agree, down with consolized shit, look at the new Crysis, it's been nuetered, I want to see more game that push my hardware. I hear everyone crying about how games don't look good anymore, and how consoles ruined it. And now we have a game thats going to look awesome, and hopefully push hardware, and we have people complaining on a tech forum where this is our type of thing.

Why do people over dramatize things? My friend bought a 5770 when BC2 came out, it was $140, and he plays with mostly high and some mixed in medium settings. I would expect a single 5850 to perform similar to that in BF3. Maxed out with Max AA, Max AF, SSAO on, is a lot diff than running med/max, and honestly the graphical difference isn't huge, don't need max AA with a high res, don't really need SSAO. But if you can push it, why not?

Exactly. I want games that make the latest hardware beg for mercy and not from bad coding ether but from epic features and graphics!

I agree. Sometimes people run "maxed out" for nothing more then e-peen because visually some games look basically the same on medium settings as they do on ultra high. Run on sentence FTW!

Haha! yeah. Thats why were left with just AA to make the gpu usefull in games XD

This is very very true I still have a HD4850, and I can run every game maxed out with AA and AF off at 1920x1080.

But I think Battlefield 3 will make my card cry at a full hd res even with AA and AF down.
