If have already re-flashed switch position #2 with backup of UEFI vbios image, [Try again] Use latest version of atiflash at a DOS prompt type [as mentioned in my earlier post #15]
nb: DDU dose not run under linux;
[this is good example why new members have an option to fill in system specs so they get better advice]

well I looked at the bios using VBE7 and got the UEFI alert and the numbers match, guess it's worth a try to flash it in.... what would you recommend for flashing proceedure as far as which bios switch position etc?
