so i put together my water cooling loop last night.. d-tek db1 pump, fuzion v2 block, 1/2"id-5/8"od hosing, swiftec quiet power 120.2 rad and a microres from swiftec.
so far everything is going fine... but i'm gonna have to choose a coolant as i'm sure just pure distilled water with no additives is going be be problematic as time goes on..
no i'm using a copper block and brass... i believe radiator(correct me if i'm wrong, it looks like brass). so i'm not worried about galvanic corrossion but i do need to find a proper coolant solution to minimize maintence and maximize cooling...
i'm at 28idle and 47 load during prime95 quad stress test.
tell me what coolants work for you and what i should be doing.. if you can suggest things taht can be bought at my local hardware/auto parts store that would be great. thanx a lot.
