Hi everyone!
Since there is often a load of discussion about this or that brand, I reckon a solid discussion thread on brands and their product lines would have potential here.
Lots of things have been said (read: shouted) without any argumentation, so some rules are in place here:
For starters, I'll give you some of my own experiences.
OCZ, Neural Impulse Actuator (or NIA). Will not buy again.
This brainwave based control device was potentially one of the coolest inventions of last year. The idea was amazing, actually using it was beyond hard.
Supplied drivers were full of bugs and lacked functionality. 64-bit drivers took months. The device suffers enormously from interference.
Anyone who is not smart or patient enough to mingle on the OCZ forums will not get this working out of the box and even if you did, you might have had to wait months for proper drivers like me.
Conclusion: good potential, badly put on the market
Coolermaster, 120mm fans and SilentPro 500w modular power supply. Will not buy again.
Not entirely bought, the 120mm fans Coolermaster provided with the case I bought are crap. Not only do they move very little air with a relatively loud sound, 2 of them made ticking sounds out of the box.
Now for the power supply. I have never before heard of a 500w PSU with only 408w on the 12v rails. At least, not from a "respectable" brand.
While the unit's not entirely bad (this PSU is bloody silent!) I expected otherwise. This PSU was also the last thing I bought in a store without checking specs on the web.
Club3D, GFX cards. Owned a Geforce 5900XT (long time ago) and a HD3450. Will not buy again.
Each time I look at a Club3D card, it just oozes "budget".
Club3D was the only company to be using the "XT" extension for budget cards. The 5900XT was a crippled 5900. Not only did if perform like ass due to a lack of shaders, it was loud and hot.
Only good thing was that it was actually cheap.
The HD3450 was a passively cooled card, kinda HTPC style. Unfortunately, Club3D's passive cooling on this card stank. 90 degrees in a normally ventilated case is bull.

Lots of things have been said (read: shouted) without any argumentation, so some rules are in place here:
- Name brand and product series when discussing something. For instance, OCZ makes memory, gaming products, SSD's and a lot more. Be specific at what sucks.
- Posts without arguments are not helpful. "Corsair sucks!" does not help anyone.
- Feel free to also post which brands you will buy again, but keep in mind the previous points.
