Read the description of what this computer is built for before you go ranting about doing the Lian-Li family injustice. The stock heatsink/fan is perfectly fine for this computer's purpose, but I tell you what... I'll post a screenshot with Everest, Stability Test, AI Tuner, and CPU-Z just for you.

To my own amazement this damn thing is running at about 40C (47C @ cores) under stress load and only 28C at idle. I'd say the stock Intel cooler is doing quite well with a +12.5% overclock.

Speed stepping is enabled on the CPU. My father will almost NEVER hit max CPU load on this system, much less sustain it, so shipping it to him as it sits is the plan.

This is posted here in the gallery for the sole purpose of showing off the cable managment.

That plug is for a fan controller that came with the case. It's mounted right near the Pwr/Reset buttons. I debated cutting the wire off but decided to just let it be. Good eye my friend, but don't think for a second that I didn't catch it!!

Dang, now I have to dig it out of there and hide it behind the HDD cage.

Search for the cable management clubhouse on the Cases/Modding section of the forum, I'll help you out. Read the conditions however.

I will definitely be in touch with you guys when I get ready to do my next project....Should be by this August or September.....probably going with Phenom and ATI crossfire this round...But yes, I want to step up into the "BIG Leagues" of cables management and you guy's have simply blown me away with what you are able to accomplish.... :-)

By the time it was done I had upgraded the CPU heatsink to a Enzotek, added a corsair memory cooler, swapped the standard side panel out with a windowed one, and added a couple of white cathode tubes to show everything off.

That computer is what finally got my fiance interested in system building.

Anybody can hack away at a computer and add 13 colorful fans... it takes time and patience to mod a case in such a way that you would swear it looks stock. That was the whole point of this particular case. The goal was to make it as clean and simple as possible without adding equipment or altering the originality in any extreme way. I actually had to almost completely disassemble the entire rig to get this end result.

And I know all you have to go by are these photos, but when it was done and shipped, it had a better HSF on both the CPU and GPU, RAM fans, a windowed side panel, and white cathodes to show it all off.

I have no issues with your (or anyone's for that matter) rating and voting philosophy. I was mainly responding to the "no mods" comment.

I agree that higher votes should be reserved for rigs with more work than this one, my previous post was not intended to discredit your vote, it was only meant to counter the comment that went with the vote.
