System Specs:
AMD Opteron 146 Processor, DFI Lanparty NF3 Ultra-D Motherboard, Apacer PC-3200 1GB DDR RAM, nVidia GeForce FX5500 256MB AGP Card, Sony 18x DVD-RAM IDE Optical Drive (2), Western Digital 320GB Caviar SE16 IDE Harddrive, Maxtor Diamondmax 9 SATA Harddrive (2), Linksys Wireless PCI Card, Vantec Nexus NX-305 Fan & Light Controller, Enermax Liberty 500W, Antec 900
Performed Mods:
Watercooled CPU, with externally mounted Thermaltake Bigwater 760i. Made better temps than installed internally. Overclocked CPU to 3.0Ghz (300x10 @ 1.50V), Temps never touches 50c on 24c ambient in full load. RAM is at DDR-500 (3-4-4-8 @ 1T, 2.7v). Currently using the backup VGA Card. Tiny bits of cable management.
** UPDATED FROM AIRCOOLING ** This system has served me more than 2 years now. Still running strong, but can't game much anymore with this setup. VGA just died, and dying RAM. Had to replace with a backup VGA and RAM. Wanted to upgrade further more, but I guess I'll stop here for this PC. If I would upgrade further, I'll be looking for a new VGA, RAM and Watercooling kit. New funds going for a new system. Enjoy the pics.
