TV is awesome in 5.1 surround sound.... Oh and yes, i have stands for the rear speakers normally. Oh yes - i havent done full tests, but it uses 99W at idle, and around 120W while watching HDTV. Havent tested the speakers power draw yet tho. Update: This sytem was dissasembled and used to create two new systems - Conroe and Storage.

how does your video card stream 1080p content from your harddrive to your hdtv? seems to me like it would lag alot.

Why does it matter how much power you computer draws? What is that supposed to prove?

Looks cool, neon fan stands out a bit too much for my tastes though.

Nice rig, I like that case, good choice for its purpose aswell, I have just built a media rig using a sempron and would highly reccomend that you try the cool & quiet driver for that proccie, I cannot qoute consumtion figues, but it throttles the mutiplier and core voltage when the cpu is not loaded..perfect for a htpc.

What software are you using to recieve DVB feed?

PT: its 37C outside, my aircon cant keep up. Yeah, i needs a fan ;)

Rhino: It doesnt? I watch TV live, sometimes using time shifting... video card has nothing to do with that.

Evilzed: yeah i have a lot :P

Velcro: I include it, because it matters to me. Your argument applies to almost any stats... these rigs are MODDED to use the least amount of power, output less heat... and therefore need less cooling.

Poge: Well hey, thats what the side panel is for ;)

KTR: honestly i'm new to HDTV/HTPC's, i use PVR2, the software that came with the tuner card.

Edit:
Craigo, CnQ isnt enough for that rig ;) i use RMclock 2.2, as i can custom set everything that CnQ can do. The system runs 1.0GHz at 1.10V at idle, and 2.0Ghz at 1.275V - not 1.35V, the stock voltage for CnQ on that chip.
