* Updated. New HD 2900XT strapped to an aquagratix water block. Pretty impressed by it, even though it doesn't directly cool the mem on the other side, it does seem to indirectly by cooling the whole card. The ramsinks on the other side barely get warm under load. Much quieter than the air cooler :)                                                                                             The original contents where from an old koolance case, I felt like migrating everything across into somthing more sleek looking, which required a bit of modification of the mystique as you can see in the pix.

I can see something wrong with the placement of your radiator. You placed it on the bottom of your case which would be unable to cool down. Hot air rise up >_<. pretty good case thou 7/10

There are two radiators. Its the black ice radiator on the back that does most of the cooling, the one at the bottom does a minimal amount of passive cooling (with it just being outside the case, the outside air actually does quite a decent job of cooling it there), there's a small amount of gap above it to allow air to rise. I know the ideal placement would be at the top, but that would ruin the aesthetics of the case. I still get 33C idle and 37C on load, and its very quiet, so there's no real need for me to move the 2nd rad.

That is a pretty good temperature. IMO you would not need the second radiator just like say. You would take away the second raditator because it only cause your water system to flow slower. Take it out and see what the tempature is and if it is not better than put it back to the orginal seet up.

Anyway when you say its 33*C idle whatis the room temperature?
I am getting 18*C idle with 266x9=2400MHz and room temp of 17.5*C using TAT

The room temp is about 22C. It would be interesting to see what it'd be like without the rad underneith, but draining and refilling is a pain in the arse unfortunatly. I think logically it must be disapaiting some heat, simply by me being able to feel heat radiating from it with my hand.

Is there a way when you update your case mod post for it to bump back up on the main Gallery page ?

I swear some people's cases bump back up when they get updated, or am I imagining things?
