just an upgrade to unlock my 8800gts + i wanted a c2d set up lol ps i do need to clean the cables up more so dont just say clean your cables up! thx for the votes

So youve 'unlocked' your 8800, did you use the performance BIOS that I post on evo forums m8?

BTW you should consider getting some rounded IDE cables and do away with the flat ones ;)

10/10. Another Twin Engine case!! If we had all the Twin Engine machines in one room, we could create a black hole!!

What is that stuff over your cables? I love it, it really cleans up the power cables.

its some sort of uv reactive sleeving that came on the cables when i got the psu ill b getting some uv cold cathods soon.

o.O" you could fold the ribbon cable behind the mobo, zip them cables aside ( this is not telling to clean them, this is suggesting. ) and question, how do you get 8k when i get 10500 with my e6300 @ 3.0 and 8800gts oc'd :O and i get 315 fps in source, high settings ( non oc'd 8800gts )

You shouldnt worry too much about your Southbridge m8, it only controls the SATA etc and barely gets hot ;)

PS: what speeds did your card go upto after applying the BIOS flash? I got Flash's/Red5's new POV 8800GTS 320mb upto 600MHz/1800MHz :)
