ZADAK may have dropped the "511" from its name, but remains a sought-after boutique hardware brand for case-modders. At its Computex 2019 booth, the company showed off its latest memory modules, cooling products, and a few case-mods that put the two together. The centerpiece at the booth was the Spark line of premium DDR4 memory modules. Silver accents of brushed aluminium top a darker shade, crowned by a silicone addressable-RGB LED diffuser. Each module has five lighting zones - top, top sides, and corners, which the maker calls "Dynamic multi-zone RGB." Each module cycles between 8 lighting presets, although with a 3-pin ARGB connection, you can play with the lighting via software.

ZADAK Spark memory comes in single-module, dual-channel, and quad-channel kits of 8 GB and 16 GB modules, which are further differentiated in four speeds, DDR4-3000, DDR4-3200, DDR4-3600, and DDR4-4133. Up to 3200 MHz, these modules offer timings of 16-18-18-38@1.35V, which loosen to 17-19-19-39@1.35V for DDR4-3600, and 19-21-21-42@1.4V for DDR4-4133. ZADAK claims it tested each memory kit for advertised settings on both Intel Core and AMD Ryzen platforms. Prices start at USD $159.99 for a 2x 8 GB DDR4-3200 memory kit. Next up, is the ZADAK Spark AIO closed-loop liquid CPU cooler.

Despite the ongoing challenges in the PC market, according to NPD DisplaySearch, demand for all-in-one (AIO) PCs is at an all-time high. In Q1 2013, DisplaySearch reported record AIO shipments of 4.3 million units worldwide for a year-to-year growth of 25 percent. EVGA is planning a lineup of pre-built mini-ITX gaming desktops, which take advantage of its Z87 Stinger socket LGA1150 motherboard, various choices of 4th generation Core "Haswell" processors, and of course, EVGA-branded graphics cards. These desktops are built into a case custom designed by EVGA called miniBOX, featuring a windowed side-panel, a glossy black front, and a 1U SFF power-supply bearing FSP-Fortron markings. One of the two desktops was fully assembled, running a Z87 Stinger motherboard with Core i7-4770K CPU, a GeForce GTX TITAN, and an SSD. UPDATE: Actually this units bundle with an 550W FSP PSU and a slimline optical drive which ejects to the side of the case. Currently a DVD-RW is planned, but EVGA is looking to do a BluRay version as well.

Lenovo, the world's second-largest PC vendor, hosted a grand opening ceremony today attended by North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory and other prominent local dignitaries at its first U.S. personal computer production facility in Whitsett, N.C.

With the return of PC manufacturing to the U.S., the company is adding 115 new manufacturing jobs in North Carolina and is on track to fully ramp up production by the end of June. We've known since a little earlier this week that MSI has been working on a new product line targeting gamers, which builds on the success of its Gaming Series notebooks; that the company has been working on a variant of the Z77A-GD65 motherboard based on the series; and that the series could also include graphics cards and gaming-grade all-in-one desktops. MSI revealed a few more byte ahead of its big CeBIT unveiling.

To begin with, our suspicious voiced last week are true, the company's first Gaming Series motherboard is in fact a variant of the Z77A-GD65, with a few changes: an overhauled VRM and chipset heatsink design inspired by the dragon-head logo; a black+red color scheme, Bigfoot Killer E2200 low-latency network controller, and possibly Creative Sound Blaster Cinema audio. Moving on, we're hearing that the first graphics card in the Gaming Series will be based on GeForce GTX 670. It could be positioned above the company's fastest GTX 670, the Power Edition/OC. In addition to a slightly new cooling solution, the card could feature an improved VRM.
