EK Water Blocks will be releasing their fourth fifth-cover water block for GeForce 680 GTX series graphics card, this time for EVGA's GeForce GTX 680 FTW series graphics graphics cards:

EK Water Blocks Intros EK-FC7850 VGA Block for Radeon HD 7850

The company launched EK-FC7850, a block designed for reference and close-to-reference Radeon HD 7850 graphics cards. EK Debuts Water Blocks for EVGA Classified SR-X and MSI R7970 Lightning

EK Water Blocks, premium water cooling gear provider, has released two new water blocks - the EK-FB KIT SR-X for EVGA Classified SR-X motherboard and the EK-FC7970 Lightning for MSI's premium R7970 Lightning graphics card.

EK-FB KIT SR-X full-board water block kit is a complete liquid cooling solution for EVGA Classified SR-X (270-SE-W888) motherboard. The water blocks directly cools Intel C606 southbridge (PCH), PLX PEX8784 PCIe lane splitter controller and power regulation (VRM / MOSFETs) module of both CPUs. Please note this water block cools exactly as much heat generating components as EVGA factory cooling solution. It is medium-high to high flow water block that can be easily used with systems using weaker water pumps. It is available in two variants - Nickel and Acetal+Nickel.

EK Unveils its GeForce GTX 680 Full Cover Water Blocks

Not to be out-gunned by Aqua Computer, Ljubljana-based EK Water Blocks has also announced its own liquid cooling offerings for NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 680 graphics card. The EK-FC680 GTX series full cover (GPU, RAM, VRM) water blocks are designed to fit standard GTX 680 (and 670 apparently) cards and feature G1/4" threaded fittings can be used on both sides.

There are four blocks listed by EK, two priced at €84.95 that have an electrolytic copper base, and two with an electroless nickel (EN) plated base which cost €94.96. The blocks can have either a POM Acetal or an acrylic cover.

EKWB Teases With Radeon HD 7970 Water Block

Another European company, EK Water Blocks (EKWB), is ready with its full-coverage water block for AMD's Radeon HD 7970 graphics card, the EK-FC7970. Unlike Aqua Computer's AquagrATIx 7900, the EK-FC7970 isn't launched, the company isn't taking orders yet, but it posted a teaser picture on its Facebook page. The picture reveals the block to use copper as its primary material, with an acetal top. It appears to have standard G1/4" threading. As a full-coverage block, it covers all the heat-producing components on the obverse side of the card's PCB, including the GPU, the twelve memory chips, and VRM. EKWB did not give out other specifications, price, or availability.

PowerColor Readies Radeon HD 6990 LCS Water-Cooling Ready Graphics Card

PowerColor is readying a new high-end Radeon HD 6990 based graphics card that's prepped for water-cooling, the PowerColor LCS HD 6990. Sticking to its LCS tradition, the new HD 6990 from PowerColor comes with a full-coverage water block made by EKWB, the EK-FC6990 pre-installed. The card sticks to AMD reference design PCB, and even uses the reference back-plate to cool memory chips on the reverse side of the PCB. The EK-FC6990 cools all heat-producing components on the obverse side, including the two Cayman GPUs, memory chips, VRM, and bridge chip. PowerColor's LCS HD 6990 is expected to come with out of the box overclocked speeds, and one can expect a hefty price-premium, taking the price closer or beyond the US $800~850 mark, or beyond.

EK Water Blocks Rolls Out GeForce 400 Series Offerings

EK Water Blocks released as many as eight water blocks for the GeForce 400 series, four each for the GTX 470 and GTX 480. All four carry essentially the same full-coverage monolithic design, but differ with the selection of materials. The EK-FC470 GTX and EK-FC480 GTX are base-models, which are copper-based, and which use clear acrylic tops. These are priced at 74.95€ and 80.00€, respectively. A little higher up, are the EK-FC470 GTX Acetal and EK-FC480 GTX Acetal, which use acetal top. These go for 77.65€ and 82.9€, respectively. A little further, is are the EK-FC470 GTX Nickel and EK-FC480 GTX Nickel, which use nickel-plated copper for the block, with clear acrylic top, priced at 80.95€ and 85.90€, respectively. At the highest-end are the EK-FC470 GTX Acetal+Nickel and EK-FC480 GTX Acetal+Nickel, which use nickel-plated copper blocks with acetal tops, priced at 84.95€ and 89.90€, respectively.

The monolithic full-coverage design ensures cooling for all vital components on the obverse-side of the PCB, including GPU, memory, and VRM. Heat dissipation over the GPU is done by wavy copper ridges. The blocks use G 1/4 threads for the optional fittings. EK has started taking orders for these on its online store.

EK Water Blocks Readying Radeon HD 5870 Water Block

Slovenian water-cooling components specialist EK Water Blocks is readying one of the first water blocks for the AMD Radeon HD 5870 accelerator. Called EK FCS5870, it is a full-coverage water block from the looks of it, cooling all essential components on the PCB, including the GPU, memory, and VRM. The first picture below shows a CAD drawing of a design candidate. The second one is a picture of the ready copper block sans its top, revealing the water channel, and the heat-dissipation ribs over the GPU area. EK intends to complete the design of the FCS5870 by the end of this month.

EK Waterblocks Rolls Out Gold-Plated Special Variants of the EK Supreme

EK Waterblocks rolled out a limited-edition variant of its popular EK Supreme universal CPU water block, the EK Supreme. This variant comes with gold-plated top and fittings for the extra bling in the case. According to German retailer Aquatuning, the company has only made 100 pieces, and each piece has its unique number marked on the unit, and has matching gold-plated fittings on offer. The base has a mirror-finish, and its retention mechanism supports all current CPU sockets, including LGA-1366, LGA-1156, LGA-775, LGA-771, AMD AM3/AM2+/AM2. The main unit is listed for 69.99 EUR, and the fittings are ranged reasonably on par with standard fittings.

EK Water Blocks Working on Full-Coverage EVGA X58 Classified Solution

Known for good performance and value when it comes to water blocks, EK Water Blocks has water block for most applications. The company is working on a full-coverage block specially designed for the EVGA X58 Classified series of motherboards. The block cools the most significant heat sources of the motherboard, namely the X58+ICH10R chipset, the companion NVIDIA BR-03 chips, and the VRM areas. A draft design surfaced on XtremeSystems Forums, revealing the complex construction of the cooler. The design is still under development, and could vary from the actual product.

All three versions weight about 920g and convert the HD 3870 X2 into single-slot cooled video card.
