Its membrane offers 154% coverage of DCI-P3 color gamut. Sweetening the deal is the full LG WebOS smart TV feature set, so the CineBeam Qube, an Internet connection over Wi-Fi, and a bunch of streaming service subscriptions, are all you need. The projector takes in HDMI and USB-C inputs, and a digital audio passthrough, so you can connect it to your sound system. The UltraGear G9GS95QE is a gorgeous 39-inch curved gaming monitor with a steep 800R curvature, a UWQHD (3440 x 1440 pixels) resolution, and a solid 240 Hz refresh rate, along with 0.03 ms (GTG) response time. The monitor meets VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 specs.

This ultrawide packs a couple of star attractions—first is its 200 Hz refresh-rate, which is impressive enough for a 1500R curved monitor; and the second is its 1,152-zone miniLED illumination, which combined with its 10 bpc color-depth (1.07 billion colors), and 720 cd/m² maximum brightness, gives it VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification. Acer has expanded its line of Predator gaming monitors with three new VESA DisplayHDR -Certified models: the Predator CG437K S, Predator X38 S and Predator X28. MSI has announced another entry into their Optix MAG monitor lineup. The MAG342CQ makes use of a big, 34" VA panel with UWQHD resolution (3440 x 1440) that offers up appealing specs for a gamer: 144 Hz refresh rate paired with a (rated) 1 ms response time and a comfortable, not too aggressive 1500R curvature. The inclusion of Adaptive Sync (which means support for variable refresh rate technologies) helps add to its gaming pedigree.

Brightness however takes quite a dive o this particular panel, as its typical luminance apparently sits at a mere 250 nits. Despite that, the VA panel enables a contrast ratio of 3000:1, with good color coverage (DCI-P3 89.48% / sRGB 112.2%). I/O is assured by 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.2 and 1x earphone jack x1. No time to market or MSRP was available at time of writing.

The monitor is developed to reflect the needs and workstyles of professionals working in trading rooms, home trading stations, and back offices. The ultrawide 3840 x 1600 (UWQHD+) resolution affords nearly triple the pixels compared to Full HD so users can freely arrange multiple applications across the vast screen. The closer a user sits to a large monitor, the greater the distance between their eyes and the far edges of the screen. The FlexScan EV3895's gentle concave brings those edges in to a more comfortable distance, improving visibility, focus, and immersion.

The FlexScan EV3895 reflects the needs of enterprises and workplace professionals that require ready-to-use solutions to facilitate multitasking and task switching. Acer has released a new ultrawide 4K addition to its lineup in the form of the CB342CKCsmiiphuzx monitor (no, this news editor hasn't fallen asleep on his keyboard; that's the actual model name). The new Acer CB342CKC enters the company's OmegaLine lineup, and features a 34" IPS panel with a UWQHD (3,440 x 1,440) resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. The panel features a run-of-the-mill "up to 75 Hz" refresh rate, and Acer quotes 1 ms response times. The low refresh rate could be somewhat compensated by the addition of AMD's FreeSync.

The CB342CKC further features 400 nits brightness, though there is no DisplayHDR certification. The monitor covers 99% of the sRGB color space, and viewing angles are par of the course for an IPS panel - 178º. I/O wise, we can count on 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 1x USB 3.1 Type-C, 2x USB 3.1 Type-A (hub), and a built-in 2x 3 W stereo speaker. Quality of life features include - 5° to 35° tilt adjustment, 360° swivel, 150 mm height adjustment, and a 100x100mm pitch VESA mount.

In the times of growing need for monitors with bigger size, improved connectivity and image quality, display specialist AOC announces the new P2 series monitors for professional users. Covering an extensive range of display sizes from 21.5" (54.7 cm), 23.8" (60.4 cm), 27" (68.6 cm) and ultra-wide 34" (86 cm), AOC acknowledges its users' distinct needs and individual setups. Except for the 34" ultrawide CU34P2A with its curved (1500R) VA panel, all other models are equipped with flat IPS panels. They ensure true-to-life colour reproduction, wide gamut coverage, and wide viewing angles (178/178°) perfectly suited for content creation and editing. Selected models (24P2C and 27P2C) with USB-C port provide an easier display, data and power connection to mobile devices with a single USB-C cable. Philips late last week introduced the 345M1CR Momentum, a 21:9, 34-inch ultrawide monitor designed for next-generation game consoles (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X), without naming them as such. The monitor offers UWQHD (3440 x 1440 pixels) resolution, 4 ms response time (1 ms with low blur mode), and 144 Hz refresh rates, and possibly features HDMI 2.0b connectivity to work with next-gen consoles. 4K UHD at 60 Hz is the core design goal of both Microsoft and Sony, although it's quite conceivable that the two could enable support (including in-game optimization) for ultrawide formats and high refresh-rates (beyond 120 Hz). There's no word on pricing or availability.

LG introduced the UltraGear 34GN850-B, a 34-inch, 21:9, curved, ultra-wide gaming monitor, a revision of the UltraGear 34GN850, denoted by the "-B" in the model name. The monitor uses a Nano-IPS panel by LG Display, which offers UWQHD (3440 x 1440 pixels) resolution. The panel offers 144 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms (GTG) response time, and support for a constellation of proprietary features: AMD FreeSync 2 Premium, NVIDIA G-SYNC (compatible), HDR10, DisplayHDR 400.

The UltraGear 34GN850-B offers coverage of 98% of DCI-P3 color gamut, 10 bpc (1.07 billion colors), and feature such as Dynamic Action Sync (lag reduction), Black Stabilizer (improves visibility in dark areas of the scene), and overlay crosshair. Other specs include 178°/178° viewing-angles, 1,000:1 static- and dynamic mega-contrast ratios; and 400 cd/m² maximum brightness. Non-display features include a 2-port USB 3.0 hub, a headset stand, and VESA wall-mounts. Display inputs include two HDMI 2.0 and a DisplayPort. It is available from late-April at an unknown price, although the original 34GN850 can be found around $900 in some places.
