AOC Debuts Four New Widescreen Monitors

AOC, a worldwide leader in monitor display technology, today announces four new Trade Agreement Act (TAA) approved monitors ideal for home office, government and education environments. Ranging from 20 to 24 inches, the user-friendly LED displays feature AOC's exclusive productivity enhancing and energy-saving software that allows users to customize power consumption configuration and viewing conditions. Not only are the monitors eco-friendly and Energy Star certified, they also offer slim and modern designs, and can be mounted to the wall for maximum space efficiency.

The four AOC TAA approved monitors include the 20-inch class e2060Swda-TAA display, the 22-inch class e2260Swda-TAA and e2260Swdn-TAA models, and the 24-inch e2460Sd-TAA display. Now available, the displays are backed by AOC's three-year warranty as well as the EASE Program with advanced exchange.

EIZO Releases the FlexScan EV2216W 22-Inch Monitor

The FlexScan EV2216W is the latest addition to EIZO's EcoView series of monitors which combines ecological features, visual ergonomics and a five-year warranty for a low total cost of ownership. The FlexScan EV2216W is the first EcoView monitor with a 22-inch screen and 1680 x 1050 native resolution (16:10 aspect ratio).

The brightness dimming methods used with conventional LED-backlit monitors cause some users to see flicker which can result in eye fatigue. The FlexScan EV2216W incorporates an EIZO-developed solution that regulates brightness to make flicker unperceivable without compromising color stability. Even at just 1% of the maximum brightness the monitor remains flicker-free.

NEC Display Solutions Introduces New 22-Inch MultiSync E Series Monitor

NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today the LED-backlit MultiSync E223W display, a desktop monitored designed for cost and environmentally conscious business customers. The Energy Star 6.0-compliant MultiSync E223W gives users tools to help them enhance their productivity. The widescreen display enables several applications to be open simultaneously, while it's fully ergonomic design includes 110mm height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot for improved comfort during use.

This MultiSync E Series model comes with ECO Mode to reduce power consumption and heat generation, and an ambient light sensor to detect external light sources and adjust the display's brightness accordingly. "NEC Display's strong commitment to the environment has been an industry hallmark for a number of years," said Kevin Christopherson, Director of Product Marketing for Desktop Displays at NEC Display Solutions. "The MultiSync E223W uses an LED-backlit LCD to increase energy savings by up to 40 percent in comparison to conventional CCFL-backlit LCD monitors. Wortmann Rolls Outs the 2230W 22-Inch Monitor

Wortmann AG has expanded its monitor offering by releasing a new 22-inch model, the Terra LED 2230W Greenline Plus. Seen below, this business-oriented display has a white chassis, a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels, a 5 ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 15,000,000:1, 250 cd/m2 brightness, plus D-Sub and DVI inputs.

The 2230W is backed by a three-year warranty and costs €199.

NEC Display Solutions Adds 22-Inch 16:9 IPS Monitor to MultiSync EA Series

NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today an addition to its high-end IT desktop line, the MultiSync EA Series, with the 22-inch EA224WMi. This performance-driven monitor is designed for enterprise clients in the corporate, financial, healthcare and government markets.

The IPS panel of the EA224WMi provides wide viewing angles, outstanding color consistency and image accuracy. Seen below, AOC's display also features a 2 ms response time, 250 cd/m2 maximum brightness, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (dynamic contrast ratio of up to 20,000,000:1), built-in speakers, D-Sub and DVI inputs, and a stand allowing for tilt, pivot and height adjustment.

The e2219P2 has a recommended price tag of 229 Euro.

NEC Display Solutions Updates MultiSync EA Series with EA223WM

NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today the latest addition to its next-generation MultiSync EA Series, the 22-inch EA223WM for high-performance enterprise users.

Improving upon its predecessor, the EA223WM is mercury-free and more energy efficient as a result of LED backlighting technology. This reduces power consumption, allows a new slim and light weight chassis and creates more desktop space. Its integrated touch-sensitive controls enable simple display adjustments through the On Screen Display (OSD). Its smart sensing technology includes ambient light and human sensors to automatically detect work conditions and determine the proper display brightness. The advanced ControlSync is a truly unique feature, which allows users to control up to six next-generation MultiSync EA Series displays and adjusts up to 26 settings of each monitor simultaneously via the master monitor. This is most beneficial for multi-monitor setups.

AOC Develops a 22-inch USB-powered Monitor

Having already released a 15.6-inch display (the e1649Fwu) that gets both signal and power via USB, AOC is upping the ante this year and at CES 2012 it will showcase a bigger USB monitor. Named e2251Fwu, the display in question is just 10.6 mm thin and features a 22-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) panel, an LED backlight, a 5 ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000:1, a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, a removable stand, and, of course, USB connectivity.

The e2251Fwu will ship in February and will cost $199.
