Introduction

I would like to thank Abit for supplying us with the tested motherboard.

Abit has had a few rough years in the past. After the merger with USI they call themselves Universal Abit. Just like their tradition, Abit has set out to create the ultimate enthusiast motherboard for the Intel Core 2 platform.
Their chipset of choice is Intel's i975X which is Intel's designated highest-end chipset.
