Introduction

I would like to thank BitFenix for supplying the review sample.

We are taking a look the the BitFenix Ronin today. Some may call this case the successor to the Shinobi, but it does bring other traits to the table. As with all their cases, the Ronin has a story to tell as well:
A warrior with no master. A case with no equal. Ronin combines a dark, stealthy design with enhanced hardware compatibility for a chassis built for vengeance. Micro-mesh strips provide additional ventilation, while the large window side panel with innovative Stealth Cover enables you to simultaneously show off the hardware you want and hide away the parts you don't. To keep things frosty, Ronin can be outfitted with up to five fans, or a top-mounted 240mm water cooling radiator for superb cooling potential. Install up to six HDDs or SSDs inside the included FlexCage™, or slide out the middle section to make room for even the longest graphics cards. Equipped with a bevy of DIY friendly features and signature BitFenix SofTouch™ Surface Treatment, Ronin vanquishes your opponents in style.

Packaging

As with all BitFenix cases, the Ronin comes in a plain, brown cardboard package with nothing but the BitFenix logo on the front. You will find a few images and the name of the enclosure on the opposite side. While one side of the package offers another view of the case, the other is completely devoid of any useful information. Carrying holes aid in transporting the package.

Two Styrofoam spacers hold the Ronin in place, while a plastic bag protects it from scratches and fingerprints, ensuring you get your case in perfect condition.

Contents

You will receive a bag of all-black screws, a few cable ties, a 5.25" to 3.5" tray, an additional dust filter for a fan, and a manual. This is a good set of extras for a chassis of this price range.
