Finished Looks

Deepcool's Gamer Storm Maelstrom 240 looks great with the test system's MSI Z87 GD65 Gaming motherboard. The fans' deep red color matches that of the motherboard's heatsinks, which really ties everything together well. Add in an ASUS ROG graphics card and you have a system that sports a matching color theme with relative ease.

The radiator looks rather plain, but that red splash of color on each fan's frame makes for a more appealing design. Red, it should also be visible if you pick your chassis carefully, which will have the AIO stand out without being gaudy.

Clearance, as with most AIO liquid coolers, is very good. No obstructions around the socket makes for easy access to the motherboard's top half.

From the mSata slot, first expansion slot, and to all four DIMMs, users have access to just about everything. Then again, a big benefit to AIO coolers has always been the lack of interference, and the Maelstrom 240 again showcases this perfectly.
