A Closer Look - Inside

The case is made of 0.8 inch thick EGI steel. Paint is only on the exterior but I was happy to see there is no unattractive over-spray on the inside of the panels. The case comes with the internal cabling rubber banded and twist tied neatly to keep them from being tangled during shipping.

The power supply has a built in 60 mm fan to keep its internal components cool as well as provide additional cooling for the CPU. Since the case is a low profile design Moneual has placed a cutout on the rear panel for a D-sub VGA port which is found as an optional port on most low profile video cards. Something like this generally goes overlooked but in this case it adds to the functionality.

The power supply included in the case is a Powerex 350 Watt unit. It is a dual 12 Volt rail design which supplies a combined 21 Amps on the 12 Volt line, plenty of power for the components this case was designed to house. The unit supplies a good range of connectors for components old and new. There is a 20 + 4 pin motherboard connector, 4 pin CPU power, two serial ATA connectors, four 4 pin molex and one 4 pin floppy connectors. Also there are the connectors for front power USB, audio, power switch, power and hard drive activity LEDs.
