The ZBOX Nano is quite small and certainly deserves its name. A black top-panel features the Zotac brand in one corner, and the underside is made of metal with four small rubber feet that also act as screws holding the bottom cover in place. There are four triangular cut outs that go with the included VESA mount.

Placing the ZBOX nano on a CD shows that the unit is roughly 10 cm wide and deep, so you can easily grab it with one hand.

You will find quite a few connectors at the front of the device. There are, starting from the left, the power button and built-in IR receiver, a 6-in-1 card reader, a USB 3.0 connector, the eSATA combo plug, and the usual pair of audio connectors. You will find four USB ports, two of which are USB 3.0, a gigabit Ethernet port, and an HDMI plug at the rear of the unit. Air vents on both sides of the ZBOX nano allow for air to pass through the cooling assembly within. Zotac has also added an opening for a Kensington lock to be attached.
