First of all we would like to thank CaseKing.de for supplying the sample. CaseKing.de is known for the width of their gaming product portfolio which of course includes all of Zowie's current products.

Zowie is a relatively new brand on the gaming scene, but their product portfolio is growing at a rapid pace. Not long ago we tested the Zowie EC2 gaming mouse which showed a lot of promise but ultimately failed to deliver. Today we will be taking a look at another hardcore gaming product, namely the Zowie Celeritas gaming keyboard. Zowie have jumped on the mechanical keyboard bandwagon with the Celeritas as it features Cherry MX Brown mechanical switches. Mechanical keyboards have a slight advantage over a normal membrane based one since the buttons do not have to be pressed down all the way down in order to register the stroke.

The Zowie Celeritas has full anti ghosting over PS/2 and limited 6 key anti ghosting over USB 2.0. Whether ghosting is a problem depends a lot on what you play and how you play it. I have never experienced issues with ghosting on any of the normal keyboards I have played on, but I suspect that people playing strategy games on a high level might reach a level where it becomes an issue.
