Packaging

Aeneon packages the memory in a clear plastic mold. While this is normal for mainstream memory, it may be a bit boring for the enthusiast. Even though such a package was the norm a year ago, many manufacturers are trying out different forms and shapes. Some use elaborate cardboard designs, while others go as far as wood and other materials to make their memory stand out on the crowded market. Aeneon keeps it simple and is showing off the front of the X-Tune DDR3 DIMMs. The rear simply has some promotional text and a side note on the outer edge, which states "Germany Technology". The bottom right lists the model number of the kit The inner pamphlet also holds a multilingual warranty statement and a simple instruction manual.
