Introduction

Crucial has been a known and trusted memory brand many enthusiasts have put into their system, generation after generation. Some have then pushed their Crucial sticks to the limits of those speeds that were available, more often than not using Crucial's own Ballistix brand of memory when doing so. Recently, we've had news that Crucial is turning the enthusiast Ballistix branding into its own company, but there are still many kits out there on the market with Micron's consumer-facing division called Crucial. Today, we take a look at one of those products.

Crucial's Ballistix Elite modules embody that focus on top-level modules that pushes the limits of what a memory stick offers, and this time it isn't a focus on LEDs. With built-in temperature monitoring and a sleek, cool look, the Crucial Ballistix Elite offers just a bit more than your standard memory stick with a fairly standard price.
