Assembly

The little metal tray has to be removed from the system, so that the hard drive can be secured in it with three supplied screws. The Netbox line should be able to fit the ticker high-capacity drives as there is still a little room above the drives.

Installation of the memory is done the same way as you would in a notebook. Place it in the slot at an angle and then push it into place until the metal bars snap down on the module. Interestingly enough, the Fusion platform seems to be rather picky about the memory used. A 2 GB 1066 MHz Hynix and an ADATA 2 GB 1066 MHz did not work properly, while a Kingston 1333 MHz CL9 with 4 GB capacity did the trick, running at 1066 MHz. Considering that a Fusion ITX board I have lying around has similar issues, it seems to be the platform and not brand specific.

Once all parts are in the system we are ready to turn the Fusion Netbox on.

Finished Looks

Since the size and connectivity have remained identical to that of the ION version, the unit makes the same cool and useful impression when placed in its desk stand. If you want to see it mounted on an LCD, just check the NT-330I Review.
