HIS ships their X2 card in a box the typical size for a video card. The package communicates all the important specifications, some are a bit misleading due to the X2 design.


On the back of the package you see two small black stickers covering up some print. It's the PCI-Express 2.0 compatibility which is not available on the HD3870 X2 due to the bridge design.

You may wonder what the black HIS stick included with the package is.


It's a screwdriver with integrated flashlight. You can select from four tips and the tip holder is magnetic. Overall a useful tool for DIY system builders, especially the flashlight comes in handy.
