The Mountain Mods U2-UFO "Choose Your Own" case is probably the single most customizable case on the market today. Buyers get to choose their own front, rear and side panels, case color, acrylic color and even how the motherboard tray gets installed. The side panels can be solid metal, acrylic panels or metal with acrylic windows. Any of the acrylic windows can be etched with user-provided graphics at additional cost. Mountain Mods carries a wide selection of fans, grills, LEDs and other parts to allow even more customization. The design and construction are great, and the aluminum parts make the case lightweight, even though it has about as much room as two mid-tower cases put together. There is even the option for putting two systems in one case with the "Duality" design.

Since the U2-UFO "CYO" is not the typical sort of case, it is not for everybody. One big concern for most people when considering the U2-UFO "CYO" case is going to be the price tag. Starting at nearly $300, the U2-UFO "CYO" is not cheap, and additional options can add to that cost quickly. However, that price tag puts the U2-UFO "CYO" in a higher class, and there are many out there willing to invest in such a case. Due to the design, this case is obviously going to take up more floor space than a standard case, so that will need to be considered as well. However, given the market and the design of the case, those are merely considerations and not problems. The issues I found with the U2-UFO case were with the lack of support for the top edge of the motherboard, the slight imperfections in the finish and the vagueness of the instructions found online. Also, it would be nice to see some 5.25" bay covers or basic fan grills included with the case, or at least the option to add them directly from the order page.

Overall I would highly recommend the Mountain Mods U2-UFO "Choose Your Own" case to anyone who has the space and the budget for such a unique case. Indecisive minds need not apply. :)
