  • Voltage: 1.85-1.95V
  • Pins: 240

Packaging

Mushkin ships the memory in a wooden white box, but we have seen them use new packaging at this year's CeBIT. So you may find the memory shipped to you in a small metal box instead. This is the way they package their recently announced SSDs. But for this review, as we got the sample in a white box, let us focus on that. The front has the large M logo from the company and its slogan. On the underside you will find a sticker with a few selling points, but not what memory is actually inside the package.

The sticker with the specific model information also acts as a seal for the package. To open it either rip through the seal - which holds the same information as the stickers found on the memory - or carefully peel it off. The two modules are embedded in foam to keep them safe during shipping and transportation. The package is certainly a nice touch and one can certainly find some use for the wooden box.
