7.8While the Tempest from NZXT isn't the nicest looking case around, it certainly feels better than "El cheapo" ones from other manufacturers in the same price segment. It's price/performance ratio is above average and the case can easily be placed in a livingroom for people to look at. Considering the price tag, Tempest comes with plenty of cool features that aren't available in a lot of enclosures. Although the case is made out of steel, NZXT's Tempest with its six fans gives us good performance under loaded conditions. The number of fans may be tempting, but acoustic aspects could have been thought out better. To put it simply, the Tempest case is a bit loud when all fans are cranked up.The enclosure market is a one tough cookie. From what Tempest offers, NZXT is certainly bringing an advanced feature set to the entry-level crowd or people seeking simple design. It's an alternative solution to those $150+ cases that bring similar gadgets to the plate. It can easily fit a large graphic card, CPU cooler and longer PSU. It's definitely a great product as it offers all features as advertised and for that kind of money it's hard to find something similar. If you're on a tight budget, want to save up some money for better performing hardware and don't care much about the listed issues, you should strongly consider this case. Real enthusiasts however will want to look at more expensive offerings.
