Packaging

The memory comes in the typical OCZ packaging. A blister pack which is not soldered together, so it can be opened and closed multiple times. On the backside you have a few quotes on how great OCZ memory works.

A recent change in OCZ's packaging is this small booklet which contains information on how to install your memory in multiple languages. This is a nice addition for more novice users.

If you are an ATI fanboy you will love this memory's design. If not, you still have to admit that the red heatspreaders look mighty good.

This memory is certified by ATI for use in Crossfire systems. This means that ATI has tested this memory in their labs with a number of motherboard and video card configurations and they have found that it works without any problems with any number of other ATI Crossfire certified components. While this is not so important for experienced users who know exactly how to tweak the BIOS options, it is a great feature for users who just want to get going with Crossfire without having to worry too much about memory compatibility.
