Packaging

The package of the Silencer 750W Quad is probably the biggest understatement of a package I have ever seen. The white cardboard box looks quite dull and only people who know "PC Power & Cooling" would ever look twice at it when seeing it in a shop. On the other hand it is a package that nobody else uses, so it's unique.

Update: PC Power & Cooling sent me a picture of the new box art to be coming soon - very nice.

Box contents:
  • Power supply unit
  • Power Cord
  • Instruction Manual
  • Test report (only when purchased at time of order) Sample Report

At first look these cable lengths might look kinda odd to you. But when you think about it it actually makes sense. In a small case you can use the short 5.25" cable so there is no extra cable to hide. If you are using a huge case you can easily connect components not far from the PSU with the short one, and the longer cables also let you reach components further away or allow for some clean cable routing.
