Introduction

ROCCAT, known by many for their gaming mice and headsets also produce a flurry of quality mouse mats. Today we will be taking a look at their aluminum core mouse mat called Alumic. This double sided mat has one side with a conservative logo for the ones that are color shy and a side with the full colored ROCCAT-cat logo. The primarily black side features a grainier surface making it slightly faster. The aluminum part of the Alumic is limited to the core, both surfaces are made from a polymer that is transferred onto a slab of anodized aluminum.

ROCCAT's take on a high-end mouse mat is slightly different from what we have seen from other manufacturers, and they even include a quality wrist rest. The mouse mat is compatible with all types of mice and will sell for €40 which makes it very expensive, even with the bundle in mind.
