It's hard not to give this case a perfect score, it really is. With a laundry list of enthusiast features it's not worth it to rehash all of them, rather let me highlight my experience with this case. Thermaltake has taken an idea of inspiration and developed it, then re-developed it again into one of the best cases currently on the market. The Level 10 GT incorporates all the enthusiast wants; hot swap, large fans with removable dust filters, maximum cable routing, and a sleek black paint job inside and out. Thermaltake easily checks off the list of major needs of a professional gaming case, but where they go above and beyond is in the details.
The attention to detail is superb, the case door hinge and built in fan (which powers on through the door hinge) is a prime example. The hidden door release button is another slick detail that totally goes with the sleek automotive design. Locks on the door and hard drive bays are just another addition to this already tricked out case. Not to mention the ColorShift fans and the control options available. Normally a high end case may include a standard fan controller, the Level 10 GT gives one of the most unique fan controller interfaces available. Short of being a touch screen with dozens of features the five color themes, each with a HI and LOW setting allow a creative interaction most cases rarely simply dont have.
With all this it's pretty easy to get swept up, the price however re-invites gravity to the subject. For $250 this case simply cannot meet everyone's price budget. It is at the top of the enthusiast's price point without going into the uber-elite custom market. It's hard to say this price is right for this case, but Thermaltake is absolutely in tune with the chassis market. Thermaltake isn't young blood, rather they have multiple well-established lines of chassis, power supplies, and coolers. The marketing team has done their homework with pricing.
Thermaltake's redesign of the original Level 10 into the Level 10 GT brings all the features a PC enthusiast wants to a price point that simply works. The Level 10 GT is a great case that has done very well at it's price point. The Level 10 GT provides more features, worth-while details, and interaction than any other case at it's price. Hands down the Thermaltake Level 10 GT is the best case I've had the pleasure of reviewing, well played Thermaltake.
