Creative Sound Blaster Easy Record Helps Digitize Your Music Collection with Ease

Creative Technology Ltd. today introduced the Creative Sound Blaster Easy Record which helps users effortlessly convert their favourite music from cassettes, LP records, CDs or MDs to digital form via a convenient plug and play USB connection. The Creative Sound Blaster Easy Record comes bundled with Smart Recorder software which guides users step by step in recording music and has the option to import recorded tracks directly to their iTunes libraries. Together with a myriad of line-in connectors for external audio equipment such as CD players and turntables, the Creative Sound Blaster Easy Record provides users unrivalled convenience and ease in recording their personal music collections.

The Creative Sound Blaster Easy Record works with desktops, notebooks and even netbooks. not to mention the fact you could do this with any soundcard using a line in port (for stereo, a mic port would give mono recording)

Not really, newer sound cards can also do stereo Mic.

true - my point was more that even my first PC, a pentium 90, could have done this job. its an utterly redundant product.

so if i wanted to record something on to my computer like say a game sound i can plug this into my mobo jack then plug the other end to the usb then i can record it? if so then i want this to bad its $35

but you could also do this by recording the "what you hear track" or something like that ...

It's usually called stereo mix.

And this does just the trick for RCA:



Had to pick one of these up recently when a capture card had only a 3.5mm in :)
