ViewSonic Shows off "Made for iPod" Displays
ViewSonic is showing off "Made for iPod" desktop displays at Apple's Expo in Paris. Dubbed the ViewDock, the displays have an integrated iPod dock that links to the monitor, which is up 65 times larger than an iPod screen, depending on model. The ViewDock will be available in 19 and 22in widescreen models, but no resolution details were announced. Additional features include several USB 2.0 ports, a microphone, integrated stereo speakers, and a subwoofer. The displays are expected to go on sale later in the year but pricing is not yet available.

I personally love the idear and think that this one will be sold more than frequently
and not every one is a pc genius that means to have an ipod dock on your pc is nice (if you don't know what a usb cable is  )
I love my Ipod Video (30GB) and i don't think that videos will look crappy at any time.
If its in good quality the ipod can play up to 480x480 and even if the resolution is lower it doesnt look that bad on a normal tv screen with h264 (it's beta or even alpha status but already fine for daily use ) .....
and yes I've got an universal dock or something like that from apple with my ipod and these ipod tv kit but I DON'T care if any other DEVICE is better than Ipod.
Honestly I hated ipod several years before i got it as a present for christmas.
Remember to think about the usage of these mobile devices like ipod.
Music - every day/time until the battery gone out
Video - sometimes, cinema trailers on the go, films on hollidays (hotel tv)
the menue is nice and stable, it doesent skip at all, even rarelly broken ones.
And finally i don't need time to bother with my musik (itunes organised)
That's why i would buy an ipod at any time again :D timesaving, not frustrating, 99% secure for stupid people
My ipod video came with some adaptors to fit older Ipod accessories.
Fixed the link btw.
