Sapphire to Release Air-Cooled Version of the RX 6900 XT Toxic Graphics Card

Sapphire seems to be preparing an air-cooled version of its top-of-the-line RX 6900 XT Toxic graphics card, eschewing the hybrid cooling philosophy from its original release in favour of a more traditional full air cooling solution. In fact, Sapphire seems to be re-purposing the triple-fan cooling solution from its Nitro + graphics cards whist changing the color scheme to the yellow of the Toxic series.

That should me more than sufficient to keep the card cool, however, while other improvements present in the Toxic RX 6900 XT (such as the usage of the Navi 21 XTX chip and improvements to the circuit board and power delivery enabling much higher clocks and overclocking) are still present, justifying the top-tier Toxic naming on this graphics card. Sapphire has announced the RX 6900 XT Toxic reaches a Boost Clock of 2425 MHz and a Game Clock of 2235 MHz - lower than the hybrid-cooled version's 2525 MHz and 2375 MHz, respectively. No word on pricing or availability was available at time of writing.

RavenasThe fastest card on the market right now is the 6900 XTXH Sapphire Toxic Hybrid, or literally any other 6900 XTXH. They are priced higher than any 3090, non-scalper, if you can actually find one. People tend to assume nvidia is the fastest.
TPU latest review shows that 6900XTXH is only around 3090 FE's performance at 4K though (6900XTXH), with AIB 3090 perform slightly better than that

So yeah, spending 500usd over the 3090 to get the fastest GPU at 1080p/1440p is kinda moot LMAO, which is why the 6900XTs are collecting dust at Microcenters
And you also forget that there are cherry picked 3090 such as Kingpin and Galax HOF, which go above AIB 3090.

UpgrayeddYou said people can't find one. I've seen a bunch collecting dust is what I said. Didn't say they weren't faster but people don't really want them.
Alright already, we get it, according to you, nobody wants the AMD cards, you're beginning to sound like a broken record. Did it ever occur to you that your view is relevant only to your neck of the woods? In mine, both RX 6000 and RTX 3000 series cards are sold at outrageous prices, and occasionally in stock, then out of stock.

Only reason should there be any RTX 3000 or RX 6000 cards left in stock is due to retailers are selling them at scalper's pricing, perhaps some more so because local retailers' cards are backed with local warranty.....

That review isn't a 6900 XTXH. That's a reference model 6900 XT, a 3090 FE, and an OEM 3090..

See a true comparison below, limited to only one 6900 XTXH that has been reviewed on this site. Asrock 6900 XTXH versus EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra. The Sapphire 6900 XTXH Toxic Extreme and Powercolor's two variants are even faster.

Dude you are cracking me up, I linked the relative performance chart of the Asrock 6900XT OC Formula, which put itself within 1% of the 3090 FE at 4K, AIB 3090 are around 4-6% faster than 3090 FE.
The 2 charts you just cherry picked also showed that 3090 FTW3 is 4% faster than 3090 FE while Asrock 6900XT OC Formula only win by 1%.

If you like cherry picked silicon, there are Kingpin 3090 and Galax 3090 HOF.

You linked a Zotac Holo 3090 card. Find a Kingpin 3090 on the market that isn't a scalper edition and available.

3090 is still king of rasterization at 4K LOL, so you saying 6900XTXH is the fastest GPU is just plain wrong.
The pricing of those 6900XTXH is also plain wrong, that why they are sitting on shelves at Microcenter.

Average 4K FPS across gaming suite testing the 6900 XTXH is the fastest card available. They are on the shelf at Microcenter just like they are on shelves at eBay. The percent of the gaming population that can afford the card / desire to spend money on high end cards the generation has dropped off because they already have a card or they are waiting until next generation.

Those 2 charts you posted show different FPS number for every GPU, TPU obviously changed the testing suite so the FPS number cannot be used across 2 reviews, only the Relative Performance metric.
Steam Hardware Survey show considerable market adoption for every Ampere GPU, obviously because Ampere are much more reasonably priced LMAO

Market hasn’t changed in a decade. NVIDIA has been the best GPU chip designer for over a decade. The market isn’t just going to shift and all gamers adopt AMD cards just because the top tier newest generation AMD card has become competitive.

In case you still think 6900XTXH is the fastest 4K gaming card and deserve a price premium over 3090

In this comparison every other GPU has the same FPS number across 2 reviews, leaving only 6900XT OC Formula vs 3090 Extreme Holo
Every other 6900XTXH review on the web show that its only 5-7% faster than Reference 6900XT, in no way that 6900XTXH can beat AIB 3090.

The HOLO is a beast of card in its boost clock. Zotac’s are nothing but trouble though and the throttling is bad due to power limits and design. The Powercolor Ultimate Liquid block or fan cooled and Sapphire 6900 Toxic extreme both perform better and faster than the Zotac card. Basically for the same money.

Oh well you must live with the illusion that every 3090 sucks and is overpriced, you have 2 6900XT after all

No they don’t suck or overpriced. I sold my MSRP PNY 3090 on eBay at the release of the 6900 XTXH. They are top tier cards.

It’s not a bias to realize binned chips inserted in good designs benefit with good performance.

Didn't you use to say that argument when you argued Intel was better than Ryzen? I have not been on in a while because I have been enjoying the hell out of my 6800XT. As much as you think a 400 Watt card is somehow better than a 300 Watt card that is faster and has a much more diverse software suite....but I digress.

I never once said Intel was better than Ryzen, in fact I mocked the crap outta the 11900K for being an 8-core disaster LMAO.

I can enjoy the hell out of my spare R9 290 too, if all I played are Genshin or DOTA/CSGO, but for some +2000usd GPU I expect it to play all the latest games @ 4K with RT, which I do.
