Heh, people don't read the posts :) Looking at my systems specs and seeing that I have PNY and use EVGA Precision should have been a hint :)

Anyways, you can't get it here www.evga.com/precision/ but little googling gives link to also non EVGA members.

Evga precision works fine in sli and fc2 is smoother with about 5 fps more gameplay. Looks like a keeper.:rockout:

Ran WiC in-game bench and Far Cry 2 bench, both increased max/min/avg frames, the average and min fps seem to have recieved the biggest increase overall. Max was average about 3-5 increase in FPS, where-as min/avg increased 4-8fps. I also noticed the FC2 bench had a lot less dips and peaks in comparison to the old betas I've been running.

Now I'll have to see if 4x AA in WiC still causes a CTD in DX10 mode...

Don't know about these. Battlefield 2142 screen goes black with explosions or airstrike near and active camo also turns screen black. Either I stop playing it or go back to trusty old 177.83 :/

edit: will try this and report back, seems to be an issue with AA

edit2: works without AA in game, but not with it even with above link settings.

Skillz"Up to 80% performance increase in Lost Planet: Colonies"

That sounds insane, can anyone confirm this, by the looks of it Nvida is raining on AMD parade big time, AMD/ATI barely had the crown for a moment in years, i expected this and good thing i didn't go rush out to by a new GPU from ATI like some fools just because of specs and hear say, a spec out highend card is useless without proper backing of drivers.
This is not just aimed at you, but most people here saying they aren't seeing improvements and the like...
They aren't raining on any parade really. They did this with all the previous driver releases.
Seriously, do you not read?
It clearly states (as I'll put in bold):
Blazing Fast Performance:

* Boosts performance in numerous 3D applications. The following are some examples of improvements measured with Release 180 WHQL drivers vs. Release 178 WHQL drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings):

- Up to 38% performance increase in Far Cry 2
- Up to 18% performance increase in Race Driver: GRID
- Up to 80% performance increase in Lost Planet: Colonies
- Up to 18% performance increase in World of Conflict
The reason why you most likely WON'T see an improvement is that you've been using NEWER drivers to the 178's. Your system may also be what is holding it back a little bit more. Simply read what is said before saying you don't see improvements etc.

Did you uninstall the old graphics drivers (and the graphics drivers only)? They'll be called display drivers in add/remove programs.
Also did you uninstall the old PhysX Drivers?
