The AMD Sempron 2800+ was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in July 2004. It is part of the Mobile Sempron lineup, using the Sonora architecture with Socket 754. Sempron 2800+ has 256 KB of L2 cache and operates at 1600 MHz. AMD is building the Sempron 2800+ on a 90 nm production process using 63 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Sempron 2800+, which limits its overclocking capabilities.
With a TDP of 25 W, the Sempron 2800+ consumes only little energy.
The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
