The Intel Pentium U5600 was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in January 2011. It is part of the Pentium lineup, using the Arrandale architecture with BGA 1288. Pentium U5600 has 3 MB of L3 cache and operates at 1333 MHz. Intel is making the Pentium U5600 on a 32 nm production node using 384 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Pentium U5600, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 18 W, the Pentium U5600 consumes very little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR3 memory. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
