The Intel Atom D525 was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in June 2010. It is part of the Atom lineup, using the Pineview architecture with BGA 437. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 4 threads. Atom D525 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1834 MHz. Intel is building the Atom D525 on a 45 nm production process using 176 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Atom D525, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 13 W, the Atom D525 consumes very little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR2 and DDR3 memory. This processor features the GMA 3150 integrated graphics solution. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
