The Intel Atom CE4100 was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in September 2009. It is part of the Atom lineup, using the Sodaville architecture with BGA 951. Atom CE4100 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1200 MHz. Intel is making the Atom CE4100 on a 45 nm production node using 47 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Atom CE4100, which limits its overclocking potential.
With a TDP of 7 W, the Atom CE4100 consumes extremely little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR2 and DDR3 memory. This processor features the GMA 500 integrated graphics solution.
The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
